Womens Canning City FC
As 2020 Div 2 (Metro south) League Champions, the CCFC Women’s team had high standards going into the 2021 season. Lucky to have Gareth Pickering and Al Hendricks take on the coaching positions, the women took every opportunity to prove to their two coaches they deserved to be on the top.
With a few new highly skilled teams in the league this season, the season was looking tough and unfortunately they couldn’t hold their champion’s status. But no discredit to the team, some highlights of the season included beating the second team on the ladder 2-0 at our home grounds and winning games with ten players!
Finishing 6th place on the table, the team in looking forward to the 2022 season and hoping to regain League Champions
