The U16 girls had a cracker of a season, playing well, having fun and winning 13 of their games to finish top of the ladder.
Despite having a number of first timers to the World Game, the players built a skilled and supportive atmosphere and their passion and hard work shone through, as did their sportsmanship and great humour.
Though fielding a full team was quite often a challenge, even with low numbers the team pulled together and played their best at each and every game, taking the challenge to their opposition teams with good grace and a sense of comradery.
The support of the parents and club volunteers to ensure that the games could go on was invaluable, and it will be great to see this continue in seasons to come.
